About Mrs. Johnson

Welcome to Fourth Grade!!  I will be your teacher for the 2011-2012 school year. I am especially excited that I will see some familiar faces as I move up into the fourth grade!  This will be my sixth year teaching.  I have previously taught Kindergarten, First, and Second grade.

I am originally from Duluth, GA.  I graduated from Georgia State University in 2006.  I taught for two years at Berkeley Lake Elementary in Duluth.  I came to Buford in 2008 after I married my husband, Coach Justin Johnson.  In June 2010, we welcomed a beautiful little girl into our family.  I can't believe how fast she has grown already!

My goal is to foster your child's learning by creating a warm and safe environment to work in.  I am always open to family involvement and would love for anyone to come in and see how we work!  I am looking forward to all the exciting things we will do this year!
